Welcome to Callsy. Callsy (operated by Callsy AI OÜ, a private limited company incorporated in the Republic of Estonia) provides AI voice, SMS, and email agents that help businesses communicate with their customers across sales, recovery, booking, and support workflows, on Shopify, WooCommerce, and other platforms and integrations. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information.

For the personal data of a merchant's own customers (End User Data, such as phone numbers, call recordings, and transcripts), Callsy acts as a Data Processor on the merchant's documented instructions, and the merchant is the Data Controller. For a merchant's own account, billing, and website-visitor data, Callsy acts as the Data Controller. Where Callsy is the Processor, the merchant is responsible for the lawful basis to contact End Users, and End Users should direct data-subject requests to the merchant.

Information We Collect

User Data

To provide our services, we process the following information about a merchant's customers and contacts:

  • Contact Information: Name, phone number, and email address.
  • Order and Cart Details: Items, order or cart value, status, and any applied discounts.
  • Communication Data: Call recordings (optional), transcripts, summaries, SMS and email content, and outcomes.
  • Purchase History: Past purchases and interactions with the business.

Merchant Data

To facilitate our services, we collect the following information from merchants using Callsy: - Account Information: Business name, contact details, and connected platform or integration account details. - Business Data: Product or service catalog, pricing, discount codes, and any other data the merchant uploads or provides through our import tools or integrations.

DPA - Data protection amendum

By installing, accessing, or using the Callsy platform, app, or Services, the Merchant (Controller) accepts and enters into the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) incorporated herein by reference.

The DPA between Callsy AI (Processor) and the Merchant (Controller) becomes effective automatically at the moment the Merchant first installs, accesses, or uses the Services. No additional signatures are required under Article 28 of the GDPR.

Callsy AI acts strictly as a

Data Processor

regarding all End User Data (e.g., call recordings, phone numbers of the Merchant's customers). Callsy AI shall not use End User Data for its own independent purposes, including the training of general foundation models, without the Merchant’s explicit written instructions.

The Parties acknowledge that while the Services involve the processing of voice audio (raw audio files and transcripts), the Processor shall not use any technical processing or analysis of such audio for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person (Biometric Data). The processing of voice data remains limited to communication, transcription, and sentiment analysis content.

How We Use Your Information

For Merchants

  • Service Provision: To enable the AI agents to call, text, and email the merchant's customers across the merchant's chosen workflows (such as cart recovery, order and delivery confirmation, booking, lead qualification, win-back, and support). - Communication: To send notifications, updates, and support messages regarding the service.

For Customers

  • Relevant Communication: To contact customers on the merchant's behalf with relevant offers, confirmations, reminders, or support. - Follow-Up Communication: To provide follow-up across voice, SMS, and email in line with the merchant's instructions.

Third-Party Applications

We use third-party applications to enhance our AI capabilities. These third-party services are carefully selected to ensure they adhere to strict privacy standards. We share only the necessary information required for these services to function effectively.

Shared Data

The data shared with third-party applications may include:

  • Contact Information: For communication purposes.
  • Order and Cart Details: To analyze and generate relevant offers.

Third-Party Privacy Practices

Each third-party application has its own privacy policies and practices. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies to understand how they handle your information. We are not responsible on how they handle sensitive data.
